I just finished packing for Joe Martin! All that’s left to do is one more ride tomorrow after school and load the bikes for the race. What could be better than that right? It’s going to be so much fun in Fayetteville; it’s really an awesome town. Not only to ride/race in but to just go down and walk around and get a feel for the lifestyle. So if you ever have nothing to do for a weekend than I would definitely recommend taking the drive to Fayetteville.
As for today it was another easy ride for me. I had a little ten minute zone 3 interval to jump start the legs for this weekend and a short ride of 2 hours easy. Really, this whole week has just been recovery for me after the hard efforts I put in last weekend. Nothing is more important than having fresh legs for your race and some good recovery usually takes care of the heavy dead legs you can get.
All and all I have been pretty happy with the weather here in KC for the past two days. But it will be even nicer in Fayetteville with their temperatures reaching the mid 70 degree mark, which I might add is perfect racing weather.
So now I’m going to try and get to bed a bit early tonight it’s going to be a long day tomorrow and I will definitely need the rest.
