Well today was strictly a day for spinning the legs, especially after the hard day yesterday of intervals on the rollers; spinning is exactly what I needed. Not to mention the fact it will be good recovery for tomorrows race.
Speaking of the race, I am thinking it will be a very good course for me and my teammate Kenny, so much so that there is a two mile climb with 10% grade punch in the middle of the climb that we will be doing not once not twice but three times. You can count that will be a factor in the race for sure.
If Joe Martin taught me one thing that is to know your course. So to avoid the catastrophe that occurred at Joe Martin, my Dad took the liberty to tape this hand made map of the course to my top tube. I never knew that my Dad was a part time cartographer. Seriously this is pretty cool he did the elevation of the course and everything.
I am really totally pumped for tomorrow, its going to be an awesome race. The only thing that is going to suck is the fact that we have to drive two plus hours in the morning to get to the course. But it will all be good the moment I start racing.
