So I started off on my ride early in the morning due to the fact that we were going to a party this afternoon. The bummer about the early riding was it ultimately meant that I was going to have to brace for this cold summer morning all by my lonesome.
It wasn’t too hard of a day for me even though I had an interval, which I decided to do straight into the head wind for twenty minutes straight; that will build some character or as my dad likes to put it; “that will put hair on your chest.” Funny thing is, that saying hasn’t worked one bit for me, huh?
After that I packed my bike up into the car since we were going to take it into the shop to get everything inspected and cleaned before we head off to my camp. Once we were done with that we headed over to our friends were I got to hang out with Caleb and Micah for a few hours before heading home to relax and do some chores.
Tomorrow is my day off and we’re going to drive into St. Louis to see my cousin walk on to the field for his first ever cardinal game. Its going to be a ton of fun, can’t wait.
One last note; I sure wish they aired more USA cycling events like todays Casino Philly Cycling Classic or the Pro National Event. Anyway, kudos to Kiel Reijnen for an awesome win.
