Coming Home

So I ended out the Sea Otter Classic with a bang, finishing second on the road race . After escaping into the winning breakaway, with another strong rider from Hot Tubes, we worked together to drive it home.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the legs for the end and was beat, but all in all it was a good day of hard racing.

I was pretty happy with the result too, plus it was on the queen stage of the series, which makes the result that much sweeter. I would have liked to have gotten first, but it went to another strong rider who equally deserved it.

Anyways, my time here on the west coast is about up, and its time to come back to reality. It has been very awesome stay, the weather has been perfect every day, the racing so much faster. I just don’t know how I will handle coming back to the cold dull midwest life. I guess you could say that I have definitely been spoiled from this tripIMG_2756

Now, this week is going to be a tough one of getting caught back up on my school work and readjusted to my regular life. I don’t even remember my locker combination or number, I might have a problem.

I will be back in KC late Monday and will be back in school Tuesday.
